This one was a learning experience for us. We spend a portion of the day locating live bait. Rigged the bait a different way this time and dropped it into about 25 foot of water in the middle of the slough. About 30 minutes later the line started ripping off the reel. My wife started to retrieve the line for a while and got a bit tired and handed it over to me. After an exciting 8 min retrieve we had this gorgeous 20lb striper bass in the boat! Man, that is exciting! There's more down there so we'll be back!
