Delta Striper Fishing Action!

A chilling and breezy 47 degree morning on the delta warmed up real quick when we hooked up on this 10lb striped bass. Caught on live bait this one put up more of a fight than some of the larger ones!  It took me close to 10 minutes to land it. Well worth the effort though.  Not only are these stripers a lot of fun to catch, but they're also great to eat. Some of the best tasting fish on the Suisun delta in California. Don't pass up an opportunity to try some fresh striped bass. The tender, delicate and tasty white meat is a favorite in our area.
